SteelOrbis has learned that in the Italian steel market ex-India offers for 0.6 mm 100 gr/m2 zinc hot dip galvanized (HDG) coil are currently standing at €660/mt ($982/mt) CFR for 90-day deferred payments and for June shipments.
In the meantime, Indian producers' offers to the Italian market for 0.6 mm 100 gr/m2 zinc coated standard color pre-painted galvanized iron (PPGI) stand at €740-750/mt ($1,100-1,115/mt) CFR, also for 90-day deferred payments and for June shipments.
It is reported that HDG and PPGI demand in Italy is currently low.
