SteelOrbis has been informed that demand for import plate in the Turkish market has failed to improve over the past two weeks and is still slack.
According to market sources, Macedonian hot rolled plate offers to Turkey have declined by $25/mt on the lower end and decreased by $20/mt on the upper end in the same period to the range of $560-570/mt CFR, for October shipment.
On the other hand, Ukrainian shipbuilding plate offers to Turkey have decreased by $30/mt over the past month to $400-410/mt CFR, for November shipment.
