Import plate purchases in Turkey concluded in line with needs

Import plate demand in Turkey has not registered any improvements, while offers have decreased to the lower end of previous price ranges. Meanwhile, buyers have continued to conclude deals in line with their needs.
 
Currently, steel plate offers to Turkey given by Ukrainian steel producer Alchevsk Iron and Steel Works are standing at $570/mt CFR for October production, while another Ukrainian mill Ilyich Iron & Steel Works is offering October output plate to Turkey at the base price level of $570/mt CFR. In addition, Macedonian mill Makstil's offers are still standing at $740/mt CFR for October rolling.
