Demand for import hot rolled coil (HRC) in Turkey is still weak, since buyers are concluding deals only to meet their immediate needs. Since the beginning of this week, ex-CIS HRC offers to the global market started to move downwards and have decreased by $5/mt on average week on week to $360-380/mt FOB. Meanwhile, CIS-based suppliers have maintained their HRC offers to Turkey unchanged at $370-400/mt CFR. During this week, an ex-CIS HRC deal has been heard in Turkey at $375/mt CFR, according to market sources.
