HRC export price declines in Brazil

Brazilian producers are now negotiating HRC for export to South American countries in price range of $500/mt to $550/mt, against a flat $550/mt last week, FOB conditions for the basic commercial grades, a local exporter told SteelOrbis.

In December, Brazil exported 49,900mt of HRC to Asia at $491/mt, 44,800mt to South America at $659/mt, 31,800mt to Turkey at $599/mt, 31,400mt to the EU at $540/mt and 21,800mt to the Middle East at $472/mt, all FOB conditions.
