Turkish integrated steel producer Erdemir announced a new price list on January 30, 2008, in which it has hiked the local prices of all its products and certain extras for hot rolled products.
According to Erdemir's new price list, the prices of tin/chromium-coated coil/sheet and plates have been increased by $40/mt, while the prices of galvanized products and cold rolled products have been increased by $50/mt. On the other hand, the price of hot rolled products has been increased by $60/mt. Moreover, the pickling extra and cut-to-length extras for hot rolled products have increased by $5-10/mt.
The new base prices effective for local sales as of January 30, 2008, are as follows:
