Downtrend continues in local Turkish steel plate spot market

Over the past two weeks, demand in the Turkish domestic steel plate spot market has remained weak. Meanwhile, local traders’ prices have declined by $20/mt in the same period. Market players state that the steel plate market has been impacted by the economic and political uncertainty in the country, similar to the situation in all the flat steel product markets in Turkey
 
SteelOrbis has learned that traders' prices for stock material St37 grade steel plate in Turkey's Gebze and Eregli regions, for August deliveries, are as follows:
