In this week's Turkish domestic hot dip galvanized (HDG) steel market, producers have maintained their prices at previous levels, though discounts of about $10/mt are still prevalent for actual buyers. While margins are extremely tight both for producers and traders, HDG demand is still weak in the Turkish domestic market.

In the Turkish domestic HDG steel market, the sales prices of local production material are as follows:

Product

Price ($/mt)

HDG   0.50 mm  100gr/m²

790-800

HDG   1 mm  100gr/m²

760-770

HDG   2 mm  100gr/m²

740-760

The above prices, which may differ depending on product quality, are ex-works, exclude VAT, and are for advance payments.
