Over the past week, demand in the local Turkish cold rolled coil (CRC) market has failed to improve over the past week and is still at low levels. Turkish buyers have continued to monitor the course of economy in this period as they have maintained their cautious stance as regards new deals, having waited for the new economic plan announced by the Turkish Ministry of Finance and Treasury yesterday, September 20. Meanwhile, Turkish producers’ prices have remained stable week on week at $660-670/mt ex-works.

In the spot market, prices of domestic CRC sold by local traders have also moved sideways week on week.
