Over the past week, Turkish buyers have continued to stand back and monitor the global markets and have been concluding import flat steel bookings only to meet their immediate needs, while import hot rolled coil (HRC) offers to Turkey have decreased following discussions during negotiations.

In the given week, Ukrainian HRC offers to Turkey have decreased by $10/mt to $560-570/mt CFR and Russian HRC offers to Turkey have declined by $10/mt on the upper end to $570-580/mt CFR. Meanwhile, Ukrainian and Russian cold rolled coil (CRC) offers to Turkey have remained stable week on week, with prices at $600-610/mt CFR and at $600-620/mt CFR, respectively.
