During the week ending April 18, average flat steel export offer prices from China have moved sideways. At present, export offers for boron-added 5.75 mm hot rolled coil (HRC) given by Chinese suppliers are at $530-550/mt FOB, while export offers for 1.0 mm cold rolled coil (CRC) given by Chinese suppliers are in the range of $560-580/mt FOB.
It is expected that flat steel product export prices from China will continue to move at current high levels in the coming week.
