California Steel Industries, Nucor and ArcelorMittal join in flat steel price hike

Following US Steel's lead on Tuesday, a few other mills have now announced $2.00 cwt. ($44/mt or $40/nt) immediate price increases of their own on flat rolled steel products. California Steel Industries, Nucor Corporation and ArcelorMittal USA have informed customers of a price increase on any unconfirmed quotes, whether by official increase letter or through phone calls to customers.

Other steelmakers that have officially announced price increases include US Steel, AK Steel, NLMK USA, and Severstal North America.
