On September 9, major Chinese steelmaker Baosteel has issued its prices for carbon steel flat products for delivery in October. The group has decided to cut local prices for HRC and plate by RMB 100/mt ($14/mt). Base prices of hot rolled pickled products from Baosteel’s main steel have remained stable. At the same time, base prices for CRC and HDG have increased by RMB 100/mt ($14/mt). High strength CRC, HDG and electro-galvanized products tags have added RMB 150/mt ($21/mt), SteelOrbis learnt.
