Zaporizhstal's crude steel output down 6.1 percent in October

In October this year, Ukrainian steelmaker Zaporizhstal's finished steel product output decreased by four percent year on year to 298,000 mt, its crude steel production decreased by 6.1 percent year on year to 343,300 mt, while its pig iron production moved up by 9.7 percent to 361,700 mt, according to the company's results.
 
In the January-October period, Zaporizhstal saw a 7.9 percent year-on-year rise in its pig iron output to 3.1 million mt, its crude steel production increased by 1.4 percent year on year to 3.34 million mt, while its finished steel product output rose by 1.2 percent to 2.85 million mt year on year.
