Zaporizhstal’s crude steel output down 2.1 percent in February

In February this year, Ukrainian steelmaker Zaporizhstal's finished steel product output increased by 6.4 percent year on year to 263,200 mt, while its crude steel production declined by 2.1 percent year on year to 289,600 mt, according to the company's preliminary results.
 
In the January-February period, Zaporizhstal saw a five percent year-on-year rise in its finished steel product output to 555,600 mt, while its crude steel production rose by 0.24 percent year on year to 626,500 mt.
