Xuzhou Coal Mining Group to develop coal and natural gas project in Xinjiang

According to the government of Jiangsu Province in China, Jiangsu-based miner Xuzhou Coal Mining Group plans to invest RMB 30 billion ($4.7 billion) in developing a project for annual production of 4 billion cubic meters of natural gas from coal as well as 20 million mt of coal.

Work on the given project started in September this year in the city of Tacheng in Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region in China.
