On March 10, Wuxi-based Chinese steel producer Xingcheng Walsin Steel Products Co. produced its first batch of stainless steel welding wire, thereby completing the hot testing of its stainless steel drawing wire production project, as announced by China Metallurgical Group Corporation (MCC). China MCC17 Metallurgical Technology Company, a subsidiary of MCC, was responsible for carrying out the construction work.
The new facility of Wuxi Xingcheng Walsin Steel has a designed annual output capacity of 30,000 mt, and will mainly produce welding wire, stainless steel wire and wire for springs.
