Hebei Province-based Chinese steelmaker Wuyang Iron and Steel Co. (Wuyang Steel), a subsidiary of Hebei Iron and Steel Group Co. (Hebei Steel Group), has announced that its self-developed EH36-W100 steel
plate for large heat-input welding has successfully received approval from the American Bureau of Shipping (ABS) and the
China Classification Society (CCS). The EH36-W100 steel
plate in question is also suitable for use in low temperature conditions.
