In March this year, orders for steel received by Hubei Province-based Chinese steelmaker Wuhan Iron and Steel (WISCO) from the automotive industry increased by 31.51 percent year on year.
WISCO stated that it has improved its sales team structure to respond to the market more rapidly and to gain a competitive edge in the auto steel market.
