Brazilian miner Vale has announced that it will resume operations at its Brucutu mine within 72 hours, after an appeals court overturned an earlier court ruling that suspended operations at the mine due to safety concerns.

Vale said that the full resumption of wet processing operations at Brucutu mine will increase the average quality of Vale's product portfolio.

Meanwhile, Vale reaffirmed its 2019 iron ore and pellets sales guidance of 307-332 million mt, as per previous announcement, and stated that its current sales volume will move towards the midpoint of the range.
