Utilized quota for seamless pipe imports to Ukraine unchanged in May

During the period from October 1, 2010 to May 31, 2011, importers of steel pipes to Ukraine used 86.47 percent of their annual quota (up to the end of September 2011) for imports of steel seamless casing and tubing with diameters up to 406.4 mm. In the given period, 13,796 mt of steel seamless casing and tubing were imported to Ukraine.

As of May 1, importers of steel pipes to Ukraine had also used 86.47 percent of their annual quota for imports of steel seamless casing and tubing. Accordingly, the utilized quota for seamless pipe imports to Ukraine remained unchanged in May this year.

The annual quota on imports of steel seamless casing and tubing to Ukraine is 15,955 mt for the period from October 1, 2008 to September 30, 2011.
