Usiminas launches new hot dip galvanizing facility

Brazil-based steel company Usiminas Steel has announced that Unigal Usiminas, a joint venture of Usiminas Steel and Japanese steelmaker Nippon Steel, has launched its new hot dip galvanizing line.
 
The new production line is located in Usiminas, Brazil. Its designed annual production capacity is 550,000 mt of galvanized sheet products, which can be applied in the automobile, white goods and civil construction sectors. The total investment in the construction of the line is Rial 914 million ($570 million).
