The US Department of Commerce (DOC) has issued the preliminary results of the administrative review of the antidumping duty order on heavy-walled rectangular carbon steel pipes and tubes from South Korea for the period of review between September 1, 2023, and August 31, 2024.
The DOC has preliminarily found that South Korean exporters were found to have not made sales of the given products at less than normal value during the period of review. The DOC has preliminarily determined estimated weighted-average dumping margins at zero percent for Dong-a-Steel Co., Ltd, zero percent for HiSteel Co., Ltd, and 35.11 percent for Kukje Steel Co., Ltd. Since Kukje Steel Co., Ltd., was not selected for individual examination, the DOC has assigned an assessment rate based on the weighted-average dumping margin calculated in the final results of this review for DOSCO and HiSteel.
The DOC has also rescinded this review, in part, with respect to NEXTEEL Co., Ltd. for which there were no reviewable entries of the subject merchandise during the period of review.
The final results of the review will be released within 120 days of publication of these preliminary results.
