The US International Trade Commission (USITC) has announced the final results of its sunset review of the antidumping duty (AD) order on stainless steel wire rod from Italy, Japan, South Korea, Spain and Taiwan.

The USITC has determined that revoking the existing antidumping duty orders on stainless steel wire rod from Japan, South Korea, and Taiwan would be likely to lead to continuation or recurrence of material injury within a reasonably foreseeable time. The commission further determined that the existing antidumping duty orders on stainless steel wire rod from Italy and Spain would not be likely to lead to continuation or recurrence of injury. Accordingly, the existing antidumping duty orders on imports of this product from Italy and Spain will be revoked.

The goods subject to antidumping duty are classified under Harmonized Tariff Schedule of the United States (HTSUS) subheadings 7221.00.0005, 7221.00.0015, 7221.00.0030, 7221.00.0045 and 7221.00.0075.
