On March 6, the United States Department of Commerce (DOC) announced its preliminary results of antidumping (AD) duty administrative review against stainless steel bar from India.
With regard to the administrative review in question for the period of review is February 1, 2007, through January 31, 2008, the DOC preliminarily found that sales of the subject merchandise were made below normal value.
For the firm, Venus Wire Industries Pvt. Ltd, sole respondent of the review, the DOC calculated 0.51 percent weighted-average percentage margin exists for the period of review.
The stainless steel bar subject to this review is currently classifiable under subheadings 7222.11.00.05, 7222.11.00.50, 7222.19.00.05, 7222.19.00.50, 7222.20.00.05, 7222.20.00.45, 7222.20.00.75, and 7222.30.00.00 of the Harmonized Tariff Schedule of the United States.
