The US Department of Commerce (US DOC) has found dumping practices over the imports of Mexican refillable stainless-steel kegs, it said this week

The US DOC has assigned a dumping rate of 18.48 percent to both Mexico’s Thielmann Mexico SA and all other Mexican exporters. The US DOC is expected to make its final determination on or about September 26, 2019.

The products subject to the future anti-dumping (AD) duties are Mexican imports of kegs, vessels or containers with bodies that are approximately cylindrical in shape, made out of stainless steel containing at least 10.5 percent chromium by weight and less than 1.2 percent carbon by weight, and that are “compatible with a ‘D Sankey’ extractor.”

The products currently fall under the HTSUS codes 7310.10.0010, 7310.10.0050, 7310.29.0025, and 7310.29.0050.
