The US Department of Commerce (DOC) published the final results of an antidumping duty administrative review on certain corrosion-resistant carbon steel flat products imported from Canada. On September 22, 2004, the DOC initiated an antidumping administrative review on certain corrosion-resistant carbon steel flat products imported from Canada. The review covered two Canadian producers/exporters during the period August 1, 2003, through July 31, 2004. The Department preliminarily determined that during the period of review, Dofasco Inc, Sorevco Inc, Do Sol Galva Ltd (collectively Dofasco) made sales of subject merchandise at less than normal value. On the other hand, the DOC decided that Stelco Inc did not make sales to the US at less than normal value. Accordingly, preliminary duty margin determined for Dofasco was 11.08 percent, while de minimis duty margin was determined for Stelco. Based on the comments received, the DOC decided to make changes in the preliminary results. Accordingly, final results of this review differ from the preliminary results. The final weighted-average dumping margins existing for the period August 1, 2003, through July 31, 2004 are as follows:

Producers Margin

Dofasco, Sorevco, Do Sol Galva..............2.96 percent
Stelco......................................3.08 percent
