On April 28, 2006, the US Department of Commerce (DOC) initiated an antidumping administrative review on certain hot rolled flat rolled carbon quality steel flat products imported from Brazil for the period March 1, 2005, through February 28, 2006. The review covered two manufacturers/exporters of subject merchandise, Companhia Siderurgica Nacional (CSN) and Companhia Siderurgica de Tubarao (CST). The DOC decided to rescind this review after concluding that the respondents had no entries of subject merchandise during the period of review.
