Ukrainian pig iron exports up 17.6 percent in H1

According to the data released by metal trading enterprise Ukrainian Mining and Metallurgical Company (UGMK), in June this year Ukrainian exports of pig iron increased by 19.8 percent month on month to 207,500 mt. In the January-June period this year, exports of pig iron from Ukraine increased by 17.6 percent compared to the same period of last year, rising to 1.030 million mt.

On the other hand, in the first six months of the current year Ukrainian imports of pig iron decreased by 67.4 percent year on year to 5,600 mt.
