According to the Ukrainian association of metal producers Metallurgprom, in July this year Ukraine's crude steel production is predicted to total 2.87 million mt, down 1.4 percent compared to May.
According to Metallurgprom's forecast, pig iron output in Ukraine will amount to 2.46 million mt in July, while production of rolled steel in the given month is expected to total 2.56 million mt.
In June, Ukrainian companies plan to produce 2.88 million mt of crude steel, 2.46 million mt of pig iron and 2.55 million mt of rolled steel.
