According to Ukrainian association of metal producers Metallurgprom, in August this year Ukraine's crude steel production will reach 3.09 million mt.
According to Metallurgprom's forecast, pig iron output in Ukraine will reach 2.650 million mt in August, while production of rolled steel will rise to 2.840 million mt.
In July this year, Ukrainian metallurgical companies plan to produce a total of 3.07 million mt of crude steel, 2.520 million mt of pig iron and 2.790 million mt of rolled steel.
