Ukrainian crude steel output expected to decline in June

According to the Ukrainian association of metal producers Metallurgprom, in June this year Ukraine's crude steel production will total 2.88 million mt, down 2.4 percent compared to April.
According to Metallurgprom's forecast, pig iron output in Ukraine will amount to 2.46 million mt in June, down 0.8 percent, while production of rolled steel in the given month is expected to total 2.55 million mt, down 2.1 percent, both compared to April.

In May, Ukrainian companies plan to produce 2.97 million mt of crude steel, 2.54 million mt of pig iron and 2.60 million mt of rolled steel.
