Ukrainian crude steel output expected to decline in July from June level

According to the Ukrainian association of metal producers Metallurgprom, in July this year Ukraine's crude steel production is expected to decline by an estimated 2.9 percent compared to June to 2.710 million mt.

According to Metallurgprom's forecast, pig iron output in Ukraine will total 2.490 million mt in July, down 1.6 percent compared to the estimated volume for June, while Ukrainian production of rolled steel is expected to total 2.43 million mt, down 4.7 percent compared to June.

In June, Ukrainian companies plan to produce 2.790 million mt of crude steel, 2.530 million mt of pig iron and 2.550 million mt of rolled steel.
