Ukrainian crude steel output down 10 percent in January-February

In the first two months of the current year, Ukraine registered an eight percent decrease in its finished steel product output to 4.4 million mt, a 10 percent decrease in its crude steel output to 4.89 million mt, and a five percent decline in its pig iron production to 4.54 million mt, all year on year, according to the data issued by Ukraine's Cabinet of Ministers.

The country's production of metallurgical coke in the given two-month period declined by three percent year on year to 2.83 million mt.
