Ukraine's iron ore exports fall

Ukraine's iron ore exports fell 1.1 percent year on year to 1.46 million metric tons in January 2006. Ukraine exported 667,000 metric tons of pellets in January, down 8.1 percent from a year earlier while sintering ore exports fell 9.9 percent to 197,000 metric tons. On the other hand, concentrate ore exports rose 41.7 percent to 197,000 metric tons.
