Ukraine’s ferrous scrap exports decline by 27.8 percent in Q1

In the first three months of the current year, Ukrainian exports of ferrous scrap decreased by 27.8 percent year on year to 68,090 mt, according to the Ukrainian government.

In March this year, Ukraine exported 20,090 mt of ferrous scrap, down 6.8 percent compared to February and marking a decrease of 60.4 percent year on year.

In 2010, Ukraine's ferrous scrap exports had declined by 24.8 percent year on year to 664,450 mt.
