In the first quarter this year, export shipments of ferroalloys from Ukraine declined significantly, affected by the coronavirus outbreak worldwide.
According to the official statistics, in the January-March period this year Ukraine exported 199,200 mt of ferroalloys, down by 16.4 percent year on year. The major importers of Ukrainian ferroalloys were still the Netherlands, Turkey and Italy. In particular, in March Ukraine’s ferroalloy exports totaled 60,200 mt, down 21.9 percent year on year.
