In the first half of the current year, Ukrainian ferroalloy exports decreased by 16.6 percent year on year to 383,100 mt. In terms of value, Ukrainian ferroalloy exports in the given month fell by 19.5 percent year on year to $406.7 million, according to the official statistics. In particular, supplies to the Netherlands and Turkey accounted for 28.41 percent and 15.07 percent of the total value respectively, while Italy accounted for 12.5 percent of the total, SteelOrbis has learned.
In June alone, Ukraine’s ferroalloy shipments abroad totaled 48,100 mt, down 30.6 percent year on year and 24.5 percent month on month.
