In May this year, Ukrainian ferroalloy producers shipped abroad 63,700 mt of ferroalloys, down 15.9 percent year on year. In terms of value, Ukrainian ferroalloy exports in the given month fell by 16.1 percent year on year to $69.1 million, according to the official statistics.
In the January-May period this year, Ukraine exported 334,600 mt of ferroalloys, down by 14.2 percent year on year. In particular, supplies to the Netherlands and Turkey accounted for 31.23 percent and 15.64 percent of the total value respectively, while Italy accounted for 12.32 percent of the total, SteelOrbis has learned.
