Ukraine's export of pig iron decreases in April

According to the data released by the State Committee of Statistics of Ukraine, the country's export of pig iron fell 61 percent month on month to 43,080 tons in April 2006. The export revenue fell 59.5 percent or from $13.78 million to $9.38 million during the same period. Year on year index shows 50.6 percent decrease in volume of pig iron export from Ukraine in April 2006.
