Ukraine takes Mittal Steel Kryviy Rih to court

The State Property Fund of Ukraine (SPFU) has applied to Ukrainian trade and industry court to investigate whether Mittal Steel fulfilled its obligations with regard to purchase of Krivorizhstal (currently named as Mittal Steel Kryviy Rih). If the court would determine that Mittal Steel has not fulfilled the purchase's obligations, it could reverse the agreement and renationalize the mill. The main disagreement between the SPFU and Mittal Steel arose in connection to wages of the mill's workers.
