Ukraine sees decline in coke imports and exports in April

According to the data for the first four months of the current year, Ukraine's metallurgical coke exports increased by 72.6 percent year on year to 632,790 mt, worth a total of $221.67 million. In April alone, Ukraine's coke exports decreased by 13.1 percent compared to March, reaching 197,980 mt, worth a total of $70.16 million.

In the first four months of 2011, Ukraine registered a 76.9 percent decrease year on year in its coke imports to 37,100 mt, worth $13.69 million. In April alone, Ukraine's coke imports decreased by 62 percent compared to March, falling to 4,490 mt, worth a total of $1.43 million.
