Ukraine’s coke exports rise by 22 percent in January-May

According to the data issued by Ukraine's Cabinet of Ministers, in the January-May period of the current year Ukrainian exports of metallurgical coke increased by 22.1 percent year on year to 1.057 million mt, worth a total of $275.72 million. In May alone, coke exports from Ukraine increased by 17.7 percent from April to 254,260 mt, worth a total of $62.45 million.

In the January-May period of the current year, Ukrainian imports of metallurgical coke increased by 3.5 times year on year to 158,510 mt, totaling $56.44 million in value. In May alone, coke imports to Ukraine decreased by 85.9 percent compared to April, to 2,880 mt, worth a total of $1.16 million.
