Ukraine’s coke exports rise by 29 percent in January-August

According to the data issued by Ukraine's Cabinet of Ministers, in the January-August period of the current year Ukrainian exports of metallurgical coke increased by 29 percent year on year to 1.703 million mt, worth a total of $431.25 million. In August alone, coke exports from Ukraine decreased by 4.5 percent from July to 225,410 mt, worth a total of $53.75 million.
 
In the January-August period of the current year, Ukrainian imports of metallurgical coke increased by 2.6 times year on year to 196,180 mt, totaling $66.27 million in value. In August alone, coke imports to Ukraine increased by 12.2 times month on month to 34,030 mt, worth a total of $8.69
