The Ukrainian Ministry of Coal Industry has suggested to domestic coke producers that they should conclude long-term coking coal supply contracts with Ukraine's state-owned mines. The country's minister of coal industry, Mr. Sergey Tulub, stated that the ministry will hold a meeting with the main Ukrainian coke producers to discuss this issue. The majority of coking coal mines in Ukraine are still government-owned.
