UAE-headquartered steel company Conares Metal Supply has announced that its rebar mill division has successfully passed the certification of UK Certification Authority for Reinforcing Steels (CARES) for compliance to the requirements of the BS EN ISO 9001 2008 quality management system standard.
In addition, CARES has also certified Conares Metal Supply's products for compliance with BS 4449 2005 Grade B500B Standard for 8-32 mm bars and BS 4449 1997 Grade 460B Standard for 8-32 mm bars, which guarantees the buyer that it will receive high quality steel products produced in accordance with European norms and requirements.
Conares Metal Supply has an annual installed production capacity of 500,000 mt of 8-32 mm rebar, conforming to the leading international standards, namely, BS 4449:1997 Grade B460B, BS 4449:2005 Grade B500B, ASTM 615 , JIS SD 295A and equivalents.
