Continuous caster for the heavy
plate mill is planned to have a capacity of 2.3 million ton per year, the heavy
plate mill will be divided into two phases and have a finishing 1.4 million ton annual capacity mill for the first phase and a roughing mill of 1.8 million ton annual capacity for the second. The product to be produced will have a 4'800mm width, 150mm thickness and 25'000mm length, maximum. The mill is scheduled to be commissioned in 2005 spring.
The cold rolled strip line will have a capacity of 1.9 million ton per year. The project consists of five lines one being pickling and continuous rolling, the other continuous annealing, and three hot dip galvanising. The cold rolled strip line is designed to produce sheets of 0.30-2.0mm thickness and 800-1730mm width mainly for
automotive and household appliances.
