Domestic sales in
Turkey's home appliance market increased by 18.6 percent on year-on-year basis in July this year, totaling 677,167 units, according to the data released by the Turkish Home Appliance Industrialists Association (BESD). Meanwhile, domestic home appliance sales rose 17.8 percent in July over June.
According to the BESD data, in July this year home appliance output in
Turkey increased by 15.8 percent over June and rose four percent year on year to 1,942,947 units. In July,
Turkey's home appliance exports were up 9.2 percent compared to the previous month and rose 3.4 percent over July 2012, amounting to 1,424,706 units, while
Turkey's domestic appliance imports in July totaled 130,321 units, rising 32.2 percent over June and up 51 percent compared to the same month of 2012.
