Turkey’s steel profile exports up 23.4 percent in Oct over Sept

According to the data provided by the Istanbul Mineral and Metals Exporters' Association (IMMIB), in October this year Turkey's total steel profile exports amounted to 160,457 metric tons, rising by 26.3 percent year on year and up 23.4 percent compared to September this year. Meanwhile, the revenue generated by these exports totaled $126.5 million, up by 45.3 percent compared to October 2010 and by 19 percent month on month.

On the other hand, in the first 10 months of this year Turkey's steel profile exports stood at 1.4 million metric tons, up 5.2 percent year on year, while the total revenue of these exports amounted to $1.1 billion, increasing by 28.9 percent as compared to January-October 2010.
