According to the statistics provided by the Turkish Steel Pipe Manufacturers Association (CEBID), in January 2013 Turkey's total steel pipe exports amounted to 122,000 metric tons, decreasing by 1.6 percent compared to the same month of the previous year and down 39 percent compared to December 2012. Meanwhile, the revenue generated by these exports totaled $115.5 million, down by 0.1 percent compared to January 2012 and by 37.9 percent month on month.
According to CEBID, in 2012 Turkey's total steel pipe exports amounted to a record annual volume of 1.83 million mt.
In January this year, Turkey's biggest destinations for its steel pipe exports were Iraq, Algeria and the UK.
